Our Home: Our Groundwater Lodge community is set in the heart of our well preserved colonial architectural town of Maryborough, just a short stepping stone from QLD’s pristine beaches and beautiful Hervey Bay. Our 60 bed home is divided into smaller households that mirror the look and rhythm of home with vast communal areas where our residents can enjoy their own homestyle lounge, dining and kitchen areas with a private backyard for their established gardens and veggie patches.

What you will do: As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care that supports the health, wellbeing, and dignity of elderly residents. You will work alongside our Registered Nurses and play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care. Duties Include:

Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives
Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans
Supervision and support for Care Workers
Clinical care, including wound management, palliative care, and medication management
Liaison with medical and allied health care staff
Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
Positive resident experience through a resident-first approach

To be successful you will need:

Current APHRA Registration as a Div. 2 Enrolled Nurse – MANDATORY
NDIS Worker Clearance – MANDATORY https://workerscreening.dsdsatsip.qld.gov.au/
Unlimited working rights in Australia– MANDATORY
Minimum experience:One-year of experience as a enrolled nurse in a residential aged care setting - MANDATORY
2-years of experience as a enrolled nurse in a residential aged care setting (Desirable)
Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills

Hours: Part Time, Monday to Friday – Week Two of our Roster
Shifts: AM shifts
Salary Range: base rate of 34.13 - $36.17 per hour (Depending on experience) + 11% Superannuation+ NFP salary packaging + allowances
