Make a Real Difference in People’s Lives: Direct Care Worker – Residential (Ceduna)
Are you passionate about providing compassionate care and improving the quality of life for others? As a Direct Care Worker at our Residential Care Home in Ceduna, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents, helping them live with dignity and comfort.
In this role, you’ll assist residents with essential daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, as well as helping with mobility, feeding, and continence management. You’ll also support residents with the self-administration of medication, assist with bed-making, cleaning, and laundry, and help transport clients when needed. Your contributions will play a vital part in maintaining a high standard of care.

Ceduna District Health Services
The Ceduna District Health Services is run by the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network and includes Ceduna Hospital. Ceduna Hospital has 15 inpatient beds and provides services including emergency, surgical, general medicine, birthing, renal dialysis, diagnostic radiology and outpatients. There are also residential aged care services provided within the hospital, at the Kuhlmann Wing and Ceduna Senior Citizens Village. There is also a GP family practice, Community Health services, Allied Health services, and Child, Adolescent and Adult Mental Health services offered on the hospital site.
At Ceduna MPS, we have a dedicated team who are compassionate, caring and highly professional individuals. Our staff members and volunteers play an integral role in the health and wellbeing of residents by providing companionship and support and encouraging independence. We know that maintaining the link between family, friends and the local community enriches the quality of life of our care recipients.

This is a part time vacancy working 28 hours per week and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
