Receptionist / Admin Assistant Position in a Speech Pathology Practice
We’re a close-knitted team of paediatric speech pathologists looking for a Receptionist / Office Admin Assistant to join us!
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Warm, friendly, welcoming upon client arrival, greet clients
- Answer phone calls, manage scheduling / re-scheduling using our practice management software
- Assist with client enquiries
- Follow-up with no-shows / cancellations
- Assist clients in completing forms and documents
- Ensure client information is accurate for data entry
- Maintain and manage client records as required
- Monthly stock-take for office supplies and re-ordering
- Collect payments using EFTPOS, process Medicare, HICAPS and other forms of payment
- Obtain / provide reports / documents via emailing relevant parties as required
- Complete other office admin duties as required
- Ensure that the reception area is well maintained, neat and clean at all times
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Opening and/or closing the office for daily operations
Upon induction and training, your job duties might also include:
- Invoicing and receipting
- Creating social media content
- Assisting practice director and staff with reasonable office tasks

What we look for:
- 1 - 2 years receptionist experience in Allied Health / medical practice preferred
- Schedule: 2 - 4 days/ week
- Hours: 8:45am - 5:15pm (45min lunch break)
- Pay: $28 - $32 (depending on experience)
- Work location: In-clinic (St Morris or Brooklyn Park)
