We are seeking a Personal Stylist/Sales Associate to join our team in Melbourne (CBD and Albert Park; would work between both locations). This role is ideal for someone with a passion for luxury fashion and a natural talent for cultivating meaningful, long-term relationships with clients.
We are a small, collaborative team - everyone’s input is appreciated and valued at LiNNY.
Responsibilities:
- Clienteling Excellence: Build and nurture lasting relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service, offering expert styling advice, and curating personalized product recommendations tailored to their needs and preferences. Maintain and organize detailed client profiles to ensure every interaction feels thoughtful and intentional.
- Personal Styling & Sales: Provide individualized styling consultations in-store and through scheduled appointments. Guide clients in creating a wardrobe that reflects their personal style and supports their lifestyle, inspiring confidence and loyalty.
- Content Creation: Ideally you are comfortable in front of the camera and would be happy to create content for socials and work with our owner on video content for our YouTube channel and reels.
- Appointment Generation: Proactively identify opportunities to schedule formal styling appointments, host events, and connect with clients to build strong relationships and drive key sales metrics.
- Store Presentation: Ensure the boutique reflects the Lindsay Nicholas New York aesthetic, with an emphasis on impeccable organization, visual merchandising, and an inviting atmosphere. Style head-to-toe looks each week to be featured in-store and on our website and social channels. Make sure the store is clean and represents a premium environment.
- Event Support: Participate in in-store and community events to build connections and expand the client base, showcasing the Lindsay Nicholas New York brand.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent Lindsay Nicholas New York with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping clients. Leverage your network and social presence to expand your client base and connect with new audiences.
- Please note that this role will require you to work on your own a good portion of the time, but you also need to work well as part of the overall team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in personal styling, luxury retail, or customer service in a premium retail environment.
- Passion for luxury fashion, a strong sense of style, and an understanding of current trends.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with clients and make them feel valued.
- Ability to anticipate client needs and deliver thoughtful, personalized recommendations.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales metrics.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on maintaining an elevated in-store experience.
- Low drama and fun to work with!
- Availability to work at least 15 hours per week
