Iconic Beverages is a rapidly growing national sales and marketing business focused on distributing global spirits brands across Australia. With a national sales team, the company trades across multiple channels, including national retailers such as Endeavour Group, Coles Liquor, Metcash, and more.
With sustained growth, the company is seeking a skilled Accountant to join the Gold Coast based Head Office Team.
Reporting to the Company Director, this role will focus on daily management of the company ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Fortnightly Payroll, Bank reconciliations, cashflow forecasting, sales reporting, supplier and customer claims, BAS preparation and lodgment.
This is an onsite, permanent-part time role (0.5 - 0.8FTE), with scope to develop as the company continues to grow. Hours are flexible and can be tailored for the right applicant. WFH hours can be negotiated after successful onboarding subject to company needs and candidate performance.

Scope:
· Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations
· Remittance claim reconciliations
· Preparing monthly P & L's
· Fortnightly Payroll for 10 staff
· Taxation compliance incl BAS preparation and lodgment
· Variance analysis
· Assisting with budgets and forecasting
· Journals
· Accruals
· Ad hoc reporting
· Business process improvements

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or studying towards CPA qualification is highly regarded.
4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft 365 suite.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and prioritize tasks.
Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.
