We’ve created a niche category with our Fresh Food Feeding System, empowering parents with the tools to make, store and serve healthy nutritious home-made meals for babies and kids. This range is sold through major supermarkets, pharmacies and baby specialty stores across Australia. Our success is driven through innovation, being dynamic, authentic and fostering a strong team.
Tell me more about the role..
In this hands on role your work will directly contribute to this established and growing family business. You will be responsible for driving and building sales revenue through:
- Building and fostering existing accounts and relationships to maximise sales potential for each account (currently 7 x national, 15 x independent and 3 international.)
- Prepare presentations for, engage and submit in formal range reviews, leveraging available business and market data and insights.
- Expanding on and driving growth opportunities, predominantly in the digital marketplace sector both in AU and overseas with the assistance of the Digital Channel Co-ordinator.
- Set annual budgets by customer and by product and manage any allocated trade spend to budget.
- Build strong working relationships and proactively drive opportunities to grow sales with external sales agent team.
- Making data led analytical decisions to procure sales forecasting, scan deals and promotional calendar agreements.
- Being the key contact for independent retailers, agents and buyers.
What you’ll bring with you to Cherub Baby:
- Self motivated with a go getter attitude and a strong passion and drive for achieving results.
- You understand the retail industry and have experience in a Sales, Account Management or Buying capacity with exposure to major national retail chains.
- Experience in baby, nursery, toy or pharmacy advantageous but not essential.
- You’ll enjoy working with a small team office environment (our larger team is spread out across Australia and beyond).
- Strong skills in data analytics that drive your data led decisions for sales direction and strategy.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Computer literate in MS Excel and Outlook and CRM or sales pipeline software. Experience using Slack and Asana is preferred but not essential.
- Tertiary education in business, sales or marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
