About the Role
Be an integral part of exciting projects that will tell the story of our faculties in the evolving media and social landscapes both in Australia and overseas. In this role, you'll engage with current and future students, alumni and industry stakeholders, building and strengthening their connection to the University’s rich history and amplifying its wide-reaching social impact.
As the Content Coordinator, your role holds the key to shaping the narrative of our faculties. You'll be the driving force behind creating memorable and compelling multimedia content and experiences to captivate a diverse range of audiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop, produce, curate and disseminate engaging content for use across digital media, social channels, web, printed and online publications and EDMs
- Manage the marketing content library, encompassing content pieces for various channels and audiences
- Provide strong creative input, coordination and planning skills across team activities including, but not limited to, the development of marketing communications collateral, video and photography
- Support continued innovation of the marketing communications strategy through the contribution of insights, data and experience
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for a confident collaborator who can easily build and maintain long lasting relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from various communities. Your advanced verbal and written communication skills will assist you in working effectively independently and/or in a team to ensure your assigned workload is met with tight deadlines. You will be a self-motivator who fosters a high achievement work environment by consecutively portraying professionalism at a high standard throughout your workplace.
You will also have:
- Extensive relevant experience
- Experience producing video and written content for a wide variety of audiences
- Expertise in the production of targeted, engaging communications for digital, social and print channels
- The ability to work autonomously and establish relationships at various levels across the organisation.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
