Part-Time Partnership Manager - Deadly Coders

Deader Coders is an indigenous-owned coding initiative, established by Junior Engineers in 2021. Our mission is to bring STEM education to every Indigenous primary and secondary student in Australia in the next 10 years. The program is committed to incorporating Indigenous perspectives through collaboration with First Nations STEM professionals aiming to create meaningful career pathways for Indigenous Students in STEM.
The Partnership Manager will play a key role in managing and expanding relationships with schools, community groups and corporate partners, helping to grow Deadly Coders' reach and impact. This position has been identified for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates, as the roles involves deep cultural knowledge and community engagement. Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, the Partnership Manager will drive new opportunities that support Deadly Coders' mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organisations and partners to ensure ongoing engagement with programs.
Cultural Integration: Collaborate with indigenous STEM professionals to ensure that programs reflect appropriate cultural perspectives and community needs.
Partnership Development: Leverage networks and community connections to identify and pursue new partnerships that align with the Deadly Coders mission.
Strategy and Presentations: Develop and present strategies to secure new partnerships, including schools, community groups, corporate partners, etc.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders.
Essential requirements: Proven experience in partnerships, community engagement, business development preferably in education or STEM-related fields. A deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities for First Nations communities, especially in STEM education; excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, drive results and implement growth strategies.

Pay: $95,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Auchenflower, QLD 4066
