Role description
This team member will be an enthusiastic, empathetic and patient, caring, fun and creative individual member of our dedicated team.
This position is available for an immediate start with flexible rostering across Dhelkaya Health's two campuses at Castlemaine and Maldon. We promote a positive work life balance for our team.
This role requires you to work collaboratively with the resident, family members, clinical staff and other Wellbeing team members. You must have a passion for working with the elderly, flexibility in rostering and program delivery, a proven ability to prioritise tasks, self-manage and work independently and within a team environment.
In addition to supporting our existing Aged Care residents, this role aims to support people as they transition into aged care by ensuring that their emotional and spiritual needs are met at this new stage of their life's. Partnering with the residents, family, friends and the community, our goal is to provide meaningful and purposeful experiences in line with the resident's lifestyle preferences. Our team members work to build connections with the residents, encouraging them to express themselves through different forms of arts, crafts and other activities and experiences, whilst enhancing quality of life and promoting social independence and interaction.
