As a Marketing & Social Media Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing social media strategies, continuing to build on our brand’s online presence and brand loyalty from customers and followers. Your responsibilities will include driving meaningful interactions with our audience across various social media platforms and channels.

The Role
In this role, some key responsibilities include:
- Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
- Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content for our social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn, as well as for EDMs, blogs, website content, articles, and presentations.
- Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels for trends, engagement, and client feedback. Actively engage with followers and manage online interactions to build strong relationships with potential clients.
- Event Management: Work closely with our Corporate Partnership Manager to assist with organizing and coordinating events to enhance engagement with various stakeholders.
- Project Management: Collaborate with the wider team to drive and facilitate a variety of exciting projects.
- Performance Analysis: Analyse social media metrics to track performance and optimize campaigns. Prepare reports on social media performance, offering insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Graphic Design: Design and create Marketing content, campaign materials, brochures, social media assets, and edits images for AFH promotional campaigns.
- Trends and Research: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing. Experiment with new tools and develop strategies to enhance our social media presence.
- Advertising Management: Develop and manage paid social media campaigns to promote listings, services, and events. Monitor ad performance and budget, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.
- KPI’s: Achieve Key Performance Indicators related to Lead Generation and conversions.
Skills and Experience
To thrive as an AFH Marketing & Social Media Manager, you will need to:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Have 3+ years of experience in a marketing environment.
- Possess excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills.
- Be digitally savvy, with experience across various social media platforms.
- Be tech-savvy, ideally with proficiency in WordPress, MailChimp, Google Ads, CRMs, and other online tools.
- Have familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop.
- Photography and videography skills are a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrate the ability to switch between tasks and maintain a keen eye for detail.
- Work independently and take initiative.
- Exhibit strong teamwork, time management, and prioritization skills.
