As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and driven part-time Business Development Manager to help lead the growth of our business across all services and product lines in line with our business strategy.

For over 30 years, Carfi has been a leading provider in the mental health and wellbeing industry offering a range of services designed to support the mental health and wellbeing of our community. Carfi specialises in workplace mental health and wellbeing, consulting, training, organisational psychology, psychological services and occupational rehabilitation services to individuals and public and private sector organisations, and services through the NDIS.
Role and responsibilities
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Driving business growth by identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and innovation within the sector.
- Conducting market analysis, developing competitive strategies, and supporting the execution and evaluation of initiatives to foster business expansion.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Networking, contract and agreement negotiation, and closing deals to secure new business.
- Monitoring and reporting on the performance of business development initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with company objectives and supporting the Carfi team in achieving individual performance goals while driving broader business success.
Essential Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health, or a related field.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a business development role, ideally within the healthcare industry.
- Be a strategic thinker and results-driven individual with a proven track record of driving business growth and forming strategic partnerships.
- Have a strong background in the business/healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of the mental health and wellbeing market, including trends and opportunities.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Possess excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrate strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Be willing to travel as needed to expand Carfi’s reach and influence.
