We're seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to help elevate the Rachel Carey Personal Brand and Powerhouse Business Solutions (PBS), our innovative training company. This is a 12-month, part-time (3 days per week) position offering the chance to work closely with CEO Rachel Carey, an inspiring entrepreneur known for her leadership in the NDIS space and empowering business owners to build and scale successful ventures.
What You’ll Do
- Drive marketing strategies for Rachel Carey’s personal brand, including her 1:1 coaching, group coaching (Powerhouse Collective), events (workshops, webinars, speaking engagements), and other offerings.
- Create engaging organic content for social media platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn to build a strong, authentic online presence.
- Engage with followers on Rachel Carey’s social accounts, building community and maintaining brand voice.
- Manage the website using WordPress, including ecommerce, third-party integrations, and webforms, ensuring an excellent user experience.
- Collaborate with web designers to create and update content for Rachel Carey’s website in line with marketing strategies.
- Implement customer journeys and automate campaigns using Mailchimp to nurture leads and clients.
- Create and distribute EDMs (Email Direct Marketing) promoting coaching offerings, events, educational content, and lead magnets like cheat sheets and guides.
- Design eye-catching content using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for both digital and print media.
- Assist with event planning—from pre-event promotions to on-the-day management—ensuring seamless execution of in-person events.
- Manage Meta Ads campaigns to boost event visibility and brand awareness.
- Liaise with event speakers and create communication strategies to help them promote events to their networks.
- Attend expos and networking events to represent the Rachel Carey brand and expand our professional network.
- Submit nominations for business awards to build brand recognition and credibility.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of marketing experience, particularly in personal brand marketing, event sales, or training program promotions.
- Proven expertise in social media management, email marketing, website content management, and digital strategy.
- Strong technical skills with WordPress and Mailchimp, including automation and integrations.
- Experience with graphic design using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to create visually compelling marketing materials.
- A strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, able to take initiative and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude, comfortable working independently and collaborating with external stakeholders.
