Minda’s Aquatic Centre has a rare vacancy for a Pool Manager to oversee daily pool operations and manage a team to ensure Minda clients and visitors enjoy a rewarding experience. The role is permanent part time and will do the following:
- Lead a team, coordinate programs and manage daily pool operations and maintenance.
- Model exceptional customer service and ensure the safety of aquatic participants.
- Ensure compliance with Aquatic Centre procedures, legislation and regulations.
- Monitor pool equipment and oversee pool chlorination and maintenance.
- Perform administration, reporting and consumables maintenance as required.
Essential Criteria
- Experience leading a team in a similar environment and/or demonstrated leadership aptitude.
- Strong communication skills and a track record of exceptional customer service provision.
- Skills to monitor pool water quality, and equipment and oversee maintenance for the centre.
- Experience as a Swimming/ Aquatic Instructor with Lifeguard qualifications.
- Senior First Aid\ CPR qualification.
- Pool Plant Operators Certificate.
Desirable:
- Experience working in the disability sector or similar environment
Other:
- NDIS Workers Screening and Working with Children’s Check.
- Willingness to complete safe environments training for children and young people
- Current unrestricted South Australian Driver’s Licence.
