Leadership position in the Western Australian GP Training Medical Education
Part-time (0.4 FTE - negotiable) - permanent role
Opportunity to lead and support the future direction of GP Training
Reporting to the Director of Training or Deputy Regional Director of Training , you’ll lead a small Medical Education team within a region or as a part of metropolitan Perth, supporting our local teams to deliver the RACGP GP training program. In addition, you’ll:
Oversee registrar training progress management.
Train supervisors and medical educators to deliver workplace-bases assessments including clinical teaching visits.
Oversee supervisor and registrar workshops.
Oversee accreditation of practices by the local team and support training pipelines.
Skills & Experience
Extensive experience as a Medical Educator at a senior level
Excellent organisational skills, time management, analytical ability and adaptability
High-level competencies in leading and integrating a diverse team to achieve strategic goals, and plan to mitigate risks.
Initiative, conceptual thinking, and the ability to drive change.
