About the Role
Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
This position will be located within the Concord Cancer Centre. This centre is a purpose built comprehensive cancer centre located at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. Our team of dedicated doctors, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and Researchers work together with people with all types of cancer, their carers and families to provide he highest quality of comprehensive care to ensure the best medical outcomes. The team prides themselves on providing quality and specialist care from diagnosis through to treatment and survivorship.
The Senior Occupational Therapist will supervise junior staff working in inpatient/outpatient oncology and lymphoedema services. You will lead EBP and quality care in these MDT clinical services. You will provide senior clinical leadership within the Occupational Therapy service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff.

- Bachelor or post graduate degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy.
Please note, experience is Lymphoedema/Oncology is highly desirable.
