About the Role
Monash Health Cranbourne Centre Day Surgery is a standalone two theatre complex with Sterilising Services that provides exceptional patient centred care to people undergoing day procedures. Our surgical specialities include Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Colorectal surgery and Gynaecology. The administrative role primarily focusses on admitting and discharging patients to the hospital/unit/bed but includes a variety of other responsibilities. You will provide support to all areas of the department, including nursing, medical & allied health staff as well as working alongside other internal departments such as ophthalmology outpatients’ clinics and elective surgery services. Working as part of the team at Cranbourne Day Surgery you will be integral in providing high quality care to our patients. The team prides itself on ensuring each of our patients receives individual and specialised care, leading to overwhelming positive patient feedback. The Day Surgery operates Monday through Friday from 0730-1800 and availability for shifts must extend across these days and times. Ability to work additional hours would be available.
About You
You enjoy a fast paced environment where you will undertake predominantly Reception and Registration/Admission work. You:
Willingness and ability to become proficient in EMR, SMR, Ereferral, Htrack, Oracle & Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel
