About The Role
In this role, you will build and maintain strategic networks with key stakeholders to support the achievement of the City’s strategic objectives. You will lead the design and delivery of the organisation’s cultural roadmap to enhance capacity, capability, and performance in alignment with the organisational strategy. Additionally, you will provide expert advice to the Learning & Organisational Development team to ensure programs and initiatives are aligned and effectively supported.
Work type: Permanent part time. 38 hours per fortnight.
Classification: Band 8 ($115,035-$127,911) plus super pro rata
Key responsibilities include:
- Recommend professional organisational development advice or solutions with various stakeholders according to the Business Plan, the City’s interests, legislation, policy, and statutory requirements.
- Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to measure, monitor and report on culture and capability outcomes.
- Support change initiatives and contribute to the business unit’s culture to ensure it is inclusive, customer focused, results driven and accountable.
- Foster continuous improvement in business stakeholder relationships and provide consultancy to the organisation to capture and design solutions for emergent capability and organisational needs.
- Implement systems, processes, and workflows to deliver results, ensuring relevant policies, governance mechanisms, and regulations are adhered to.
- Monitor, evaluate and regularly report on outcomes for all programs, ensuring an evidence-based approach is taken to continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a dedicated Organisational Development role with experience in human centred design, implementation and evaluation of cultural and leadership programs and a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or Business and/or an equivalent combination of formal qualifications and experience.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and evaluating large-scale organisational culture and capability development strategies in complex environments.
- Skilled in creating and delivering cultural and leadership development programs, including facilitating consultation workshops for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-quality strategic initiatives, aligning departmental objectives with broader organisational goals.
- Strong consulting and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering partnership and support.
- Expertise in using data and analytics to identify themes, evaluate program outcomes, and drive priorities aligned with strategic objectives.
- Resilient in managing multiple priorities and leading initiatives through complexity and ambiguity, championing change with emotional intelligence.
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
