About Biochemistry
The biochemistry department is committed to promoting the highest levels of quality pathology services to the Austin hospital, and surrounding health care facilities. Working as a reference laboratory for regional sites, the Heidelberg laboratory receives samples from many different specialities including maternity and neonates, liver and kidney transplantation, haematology and oncology and the emergency department.
About the role
Reporting to the Principal Scientist, as a grade 1 scientist you will work within our biochemistry laboratory as part of the biochemistry team, who are passionate about providing best practice care for our patients.
A regular day will see you:

Liaising with PSAs, ward staff, couriers, Chemical Pathologists and registrars, both in person and on the phone
About you
You will be someone who has excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality in a biochemistry laboratory. You will bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
