About the Role:
As a Medical Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and an integral part of our team. You will manage administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the clinic, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and practitioners alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Answer incoming calls and manage appointment bookings using.
- Handle patient inquiries with care and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
- Process billing, Medicare, and private health claims efficiently.
- Coordinate practitioner schedules and clinic workflows.
- Manage stock levels for medical and office supplies.
- Sterilisation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Assist with general office duties, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.

Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in medical or allied health administration or a similar role (preferred).
- Proficiency in using computers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of Medicare and private health billing processes (desirable).
- Understanding of medical terminology (advantageous).
