Seeking a Passionate and Dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager Better Care Coordinator for our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program!
SA Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager Better Care Coordinator to join our team in the Adelaide Hills Community Health unit within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. This is a part-time, temporary contract position until May 1, 2025.
In this vital role, you will provide nursing services to assess for, plan and coordinate Pulmonary Rehabilitation groups alongside Allied Health staff and evaluate the clients' progress. Drawing on your consolidated experience and further study and as a proficient practitioner, you will accept accountability for your own practice standards, activities delegated to others, and the guidance and development of less experienced staff.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Promoting continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with other Allied health staff and the Nurse Unit Manager.
- Assisting the Nurse Unit Manager in implementing practice changes.
- Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in undertaking service management responsibilities, such as performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation, attendance management, financial planning, and supplies monitoring.
- Providing support to the Nursing Unit Manager or equivalent in the leadership of and collaboration with nurses and Allied health staff in the service.
To be successful in this role, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
