About The Department
Patient Experience and Consumer Engagement (PECE) was established to align the existing portfolios:
- Aboriginal Health
- Consumer and Community Participation
- Diversity, including cultural and linguistic diversity (CALD), lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ), disability and other seldom heard groups with potential unmet needs
- Patient Experience
- Volunteer Program (The Alfred and Caulfield Hospitals)

The PCF Strategy is Alfred Health’s ‘road map’ for agreed priorities of care and service to support the best possible experience of care for all our patients, irrespective of their individual preferences, values and expressed needs.
About The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated person to join Alfred Health’s Patient Experience & Consumer Engagement team as the Project Officer for the Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) project. This role focuses on enhancing the use of PROMs across Alfred Health, contributing to improved patient care and experience. You will work collaboratively with clinical teams, consumers, and other stakeholders to drive meaningful change.
Qualifications And Experience Required
- Undergraduate degree in a health-related field (e.g., Nursing, Allied Health, Public Health) or equivalent experience.
- Passionate about improving healthcare quality and patient outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage dynamic workflows.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and trends, particularly within Victoria.
