This role is based in our Sydney office with Hybrid working arrangement.
Role Purpose
The Sales Operations Coordinator role will report to the Sales Operations and Customer Services Manager and help deliver high-quality support services to the Sales team, services to other internal stakeholders, and delivers excellent service to our Commercial and Industrial customers and Third-Party Intermediaries to provide the best-in-class experiences.
The role is responsible for liaising with customers and brokers in the preparation of price quotations for sales activity, managing the end-to-end process of tender set up, quotation and contract acceptance, enabling successful deal capture, billing set-up and site registration.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and supporting day to day sales support and sales operations activities including:
- Setting up and running prices for submission, including any bespoke prices.
- Managing a variety of TPI enquiries via email and phone.
- Resolving TPI queries first time, every time.
- Building and maintaining rapport and strong relationships with TPIs.
- Management of our CRM, ensuring it is the central source of truth.
- Support Sales Channel Managers throughout the end-to-end sales process.
- Managing the contract signature and storage processes.
- Be the go-to person for all things sales.
- Completing acceptance testing for new system development
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to align sales operational strategies with broader business objectives. Provide valuable insights from interactions to help shape product offerings and service enhancements.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the sales operations team. Actively seek feedback from team members, identify opportunities for innovation, and implement best practices to elevate the overall customer experience.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and work to implement solutions that optimize workflow and streamline operations.
Performance Indicators:
- Accurate and timely capture of tenders and contracts in systems and administered to customers and/or brokers.
- Production of accurate and timely quotes and contracts; and
- High NPS (customer satisfaction) score associated to TPI’s managed.
Experience:
- Experience in sales operations or similar role within the energy and utilities sector.
- Ideally educated to graduate level with minimum high school certificate
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office suite at an intermediate level, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Experience with CRMs, salesforce preferred
- High standard of written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and confident with communicating roadblocks to stakeholders
Knowledge:
- Customer service and administration experience.
- Ability to pick up systems quickly, in particular Microsoft Excel and CRMs.
- Knowledge of the Australian (NEM) energy industry, understandings of the energy markets.
