We're seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant/Finance Officer to join our dynamic team. This part-time role (1-2 days per week) is crucial to our ongoing success and growth.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Internal Accountant/Finance Officer (1-2 days per week). This role is critical to our ongoing success and requires a strategic thinker with a strong financial acumen.
Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organisation. Your duties will include financial reporting, analysis, and planning, as well as providing valuable insights to support business decision-making.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter looking for a flexible role with significant impact. As a key member of our team, you'll provide essential financial support, enabling us to make informed decisions and achieve our growth objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Management- Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconciling bank accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Managing the chart of accounts and maintaining accurate asset registers.
- Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Developing and implementing financial controls and procedures.
- Conducting regular financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning.
Reporting and Analysis- Developing and producing regular financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis, including sales performance, cost analysis, and profitability metrics.
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Payroll and HR Administration- Processing payroll accurately and on time.
- Managing employee records, including contracts, salaries, and benefits.
- Ensuring compliance with payroll and employment regulations.
Cash Flow Management- Forecasting cash flow requirements.
- Managing accounts receivable and collections.
- Implementing strategies to optimise cash flow.
Strategic Partnership- Working closely with the CEO and COO to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Analysing financial data to inform business decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities- Assisting with budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.
- Supporting the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
- Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
