Mathspace is an edtech company rethinking how we teach and learn mathematics. Have you ever heard someone say they’re not a ‘maths person’? We believe every student can excel in maths. We’ve dedicated 10+ years to building adaptive learning technology that can truly personalise how a student learns.
Why We Need You
We are reaching a busy time in our cycle and are looking for an enthusiastic SDR to join the team on a casual basis. We need your help connecting with schools, coordinating and booking demo meetings for our sales team.
What You Will Do
- Utilise our database (we use Hubspot) to work through queues and coordinate meetings.
- Engage prospects at different stages to ensure they get the best experience by booking demos and training meetings on behalf of the sales team.
- Engage with current customers at key lifecycle stages to book renewal and year-in-review meetings.
- Enter and update customer info in the database.
- Keep detailed records of calls and sales and note useful information.
- Collaborate with the sales team to inform outreach strategy.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Mathspace product.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Ability to learn about Mathspace, and to explain what we do to customers and prospects.
- A customer success mindset: willingness to help customers succeed with our product and navigate operational challenges.
- Ablility to handle rejection, and overcome objections.
- Business-level English, excellent communication skills.
- Availability: at least 5hrs x 3 days per week. More hours are available.
- Ability to travel to our Central Station (Sydney) HQ for 3 shifts per week.
Desirable
- Demonstrated experience in sales, customer success or account management.
- Experience working toward individual and collaborative goals/KPIs.
- Familiarity with CRM technology and/or account management principles.
- A working knowledge of secondary school education in Australia.
