About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to be responsible for performing regular high-quality mammograms, participating in assessment clinics and providing support, advice and care to the eligible women of the BreastScreen Queensland Brisbane Northside Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver a high-quality level of mammography clinical services including assessment work-up examinations within a multidisciplinary team to eligible asymptomatic women at risk of developing breast cancer within the catchment area of the Brisbane Northside Service, in accordance with the BreastScreen Australia National Accreditation Standards.
- Stereotactic and/or tomosynthesis guided core biopsies independent of supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team in line with the BreastScreen Queensland policies and procedures for assessment.
- Participate daily within a multidisciplinary team providing advanced clinical mammography advice to both team members and clients regarding complex clinical and technical radiographic specifics throughout the BreastScreen Queensland screening and assessment pathway.
- Participate in the identification, development and implementation of quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of radiographic services within the Service.
