About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to deliver high quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy clinical services as a member of the Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver advanced occupational therapy clinical services of a complex and varied nature for geriatric and rehabilitation care including rehabilitation for persons with neurological conditions, complex medical comorbidities and other conditions.in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, with minimal direct clinical supervision.
- Provide timely, high level clinical advice to a range of health professionals, supervisors, managers and stakeholders, both internal and external to the HHS, regarding occupational therapy management and service delivery, including prioritisation and changes in clinical practice, equipment and technological advances.
- Accountable for the provision of leadership within a legal, professional and ethical framework that ensures contemporary patient care and staff management practices.
