Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Head of Marketing & Digital, the purpose of the Content Creator role is to develop, produce, and manage high-quality multimedia content that brings The Man Cave brand to life across all social media marketing channels. The Content Creator will collaborate with the Marketing and Digital teams to create impactful content that engages audiences and effectively communicates the organisation’s mission and achievements.
This role involves a mix of content creation, production, and content management, ensuring seamless execution from concept to publication. The role is pivotal in supporting other teams to capture and share their work, contributing to a unified and compelling brand voice.
The Role:
Content Creation (80%)
- Design and develop creative and engaging multimedia content that aligns with The Man Cave’s mission and brand.
- Plan, storyboard, and execute content ideas that resonate with various audiences, converting complex ideas into simple, engaging narratives.
- Film high-quality content using professional equipment, including the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K and DSLR/mirrorless setups.
- Set up and operate lighting (e.g. Nanlite) and audio equipment (e.g. Rode Wireless GO, PodMic, Rodecaster), ensuring high quality production.
- Edit and assemble content using Adobe Premiere Pro, handle content exports through Adobe Media Encoder, and create promotional assets using Adobe Photoshop.
- Utilise Adobe Audition for audio enhancements, mastering, and noise reduction, with the ability to use After Effects for motion graphics as needed.
Content Coordination (20%)
- Organise and coordinate digital assets and output effectively to ensure seamless content delivery to the Marketing team for publication.
- Review content regularly to maintain high quality and relevance, making improvements as necessary.
- Guide and coach other teams on how to effectively capture and share their work.
Content Quality & Maintenance
- Monitor feedback from internal and external stakeholders to align content with audience needs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of content by analysing engagement and feedback, making improvements as needed.
- Ensure high standards for content production, ensuring professional quality in audio sync, colour accuracy, and aspect ratios.
Values and Cultural Behaviours

- Work collaboratively with the broader TMC team, being a positive representative both internally and externally.
- Represent The Man Cave in public settings such as on social media, speaking engagements, conferences, or stakeholder meetings as needed.

Key Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in content creation, video production and multimedia editing. Specifically:
- Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator and Audition).
- Experience in using professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in the planning, storyboarding, and shooting of new content ideas to reach new audiences. Including:
- Ability to plan, develop and execute content that aligns with our brand vision and achieves our marketing and communications objectives.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into engaging content.
- Solid understanding of social media strategies and trends and ability to research, analyse and gather inspiration from various industries to foster innovation in our content creation process and outputs.
- Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines for consistent publishing across platforms
- A passion for The Man Cave’s mission to support the emotional wellbeing of young boys.
