About The Role
As a Social Media Assistant, your key responsibilities include:
- Assist with the management of day-to-day organic social media activity, including consulting with Marketing and Communications staff and liaising with departments and agencies to ensure consistency of style and quality.
- Assist in the development, scheduling, and publishing content across Chisholm’s organic social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) using Social Media Management Software (e.g. Sprout).
- Support the creation of assets and written content, including graphics, short videos, and social media captions.
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all content.
- Monitor and engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Provide input into issues management plans and mitigate risk on social media channels through regular monitoring and responsive moderation.
- Engage with industry, employees and students on social media channels to build community relationships and promote brand awareness.
About You
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills and experience in social media and community management, with an understanding of engagement strategies and enquiry resolution.
Qualifications Required For The Role
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or working towards one); or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant social media experience
