What You Will Be Doing
The Health Information Management Undergraduate position has been created to provide a final year Health Information Management student the opportunity to gain insight into the roles and responsibilities of a large public health - health information service. This role is flexible and designed to incorporate study requirements as a priority. This role will include participation in Data Quality Audits, assist staff with report production and be a part of the delivery of acute, subacute and mental health projects.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Current enrolment in Bachelor of Health Information Management or equivalent/higher qualification (in progress)
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of clinical coding principals and standards
- Knowledge of Activity Based Funding (ABF)
- Eligibility for student membership of the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA)
