About the Opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for managing and delivering events, sponsorships and partnerships for our customers, people, partners and communities. This flexible part-time opportunity (2-3 days per week) is ideal for someone looking to balance professional and personal commitments whilst making a real impact. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Management, and execution of events; including event planning, vendor & budget management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with community and sponsorship partners to enhance brand visibility and strengthen community connections.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive sponsorship calendar to ensure strategic timing and alignment with business priorities.
- Identify and recommend high-impact events and partnerships to drive brand engagement and prospect acquisition.
- Engage appropriate vendors based on business requirements, managing vendor contracts and ongoing relationships.
- Manage merchandise requirements for events and other marketing initiatives.
- Support internal event & communications initiatives, including social committee, staff engagement and creating content/communications to keep staff informed and engaged.
- Collaborate and provide campaign and project support to the marketing team.
About You
We are seeking someone who has the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing and/or event coordination, ideally within a banking or financial services environment
- Strong project management abilities, with experience coordinating multiple events/projects concurrently
- Strong time management, with the ability to meet targets & deadlines
- Strong communication and attention to detail
