- $51.60 - $58.13 per hour + Super
- Part Time - ability to accrue ADOs which equates to 12 extra days off per year

Your Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. This is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of client bases - from needing help with basic equipment, through to home modifications to assist our clients to stay safe in their homes and live as independently as possible
Your tasks will include:
- Conducting in-home clinical assessments for physical and neurological conditions
- Developing and implementing individual intervention plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals
- ADL and mobility assessments, as well as prescribing aids and equipment to enhance independent living skills e.g. hoists, mobile commode, wheelchairs
- Environmental assessments and recommending home modifications to minimise fall risk and improve access
- Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team, other health care professionals, community providers, and family members to provide holistic care
- Where appropriate, reporting to case managers regarding client conditions and occupational therapy interventions and recommendations. Additionally, making referrals (nursing, physiotherapy, dietetics) as needed to ensure optimal client health outcomes
- Applying for equipment and mobility aids through MASS, GEAT2GO and NDIS funding programs

Role Requirements
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current Queensland driver's licence
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough)s
- Good computer & mobile device skills
