About This Role
On behalf of our client, Woodside Energy - a Global Energy Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a detail-oriented Part-time weekend Marketing Operator to manage key operational tasks for the Pipeline Gas Operations over the weekend and public holidays. This role ensures the smooth scheduling, timely responses to intraday requests and efficient communication with stakeholders.
- Schedule pipeline gas operations to meet critical business deadlines
- Manage intraday nomination requests and process late changes efficiently
- Issue customer notices and revise documentation as required
- Respond to and manage unplanned/planned pipeline-related events
- Act as the primary contact via the duty phone during business hours, liaising with customers and facilities as necessary
- Handle unexpected or unplanned operational events as required
- Provide coverage for additional hours during extended leave or major events
- Support the team with redundancy coverage, ensuring consistent service delivery
Requirements
Requirements
- Degree qualification will be desirable, but not essential OR practical experience in Business, Commerce, Finance or related fields is highly valued
- Background in Contracts Management, Finance or Production Planning is preferable, especially within complex environment
- Previous Oil & Gas industry experience will be highly advantageous, particularly in pipeline scheduling, gas nominations and industry-specific processes
- Advanced MS Excel skills - formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs is essential for data management and analysis
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and handle unplanned events
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage critical deadlines
- Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams
- Previous experience in gas scheduling, operations, or a similar field is advantageous
