What You Will Be Working On
As a
Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and innovation across our organisation. You'll oversee BAU support and enhancement of the City’s business systems, collaborate with stakeholders, and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining user access and ensure access control practices align with legal, regulatory and security requirements.
- Troubleshooting issues through root cause analysis and resolving them promptly.
- Overseeing the transition of new functionalities, services, and processes from development to support teams.
- Managing system refreshes and upgrades to maintain reliability and security.
- Identifying opportunities for process optimisation, reducing ticket volume, and improving workflows.
- Creating and maintaining internal knowledge base articles to empower end-users and support training initiatives.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- A tertiary qualification in Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent experience in corporate application support and business analysis.
- Experience administering ERP business systems (TechnologyOne experience is highly desirable)
- Demonstrated success in business process optimisation and corporate systems support, ideally within Government or a similar environment.
- A proactive, solutions-driven approach with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic organisation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A focus on driving results and fostering continuous improvement.
