About The Position
The Team Leader Economic Development leads the development and implementation of key strategic projects which contribute to building a resilient and sustainable economy. The role delivers measurable outcomes for the Monash community, with a focus on economic development including research, investment attraction, business support, visitor attraction and stakeholder engagement.
Skills And Experience
- Tertiary qualification in a related field - Economic Development, Business Management, Commerce or Marketing with relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in driving and delivering economic development strategies based on sound professional judgement, research and current trends
- Demonstrated understanding of local economic development principles, economic data and existing Government services
- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships both internally and externally, including an ability to develop and present information in clear, easy to understand language

- Employee Working with Children’s Check
- Satisfactory National Police Check
- Current Drivers Licence; and
- Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
