About the Opportunity
As a Nurse Educator, reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering education and support to all staff in the A&E. You will also contribute to the strategic plan of the Hospital Education Department as an essential member of the team.
You will be required to:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based training and support to the staff in the A&E Department.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs across the facility.
- Provide valuable contributions to the hospital’s quality improvement process.
Your Skills and Experience
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within the areas of specialty essential
- Proven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professional
- Team leading experience
- Possess excellent time management skills and well development clinical problem-solving skills
- A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance
- Post graduate qualification in specialty area desirable but not essential
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

- Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
