Customer Sales Officer - Jandakot
Join our dynamic Material Sales Team as a Customer Sales Officer! In this 6-month fixed-term role based in Jandakot, you'll play a key part in fostering strong customer relationships, growing market share, and driving unregulated revenue for Western Power. Your responsibilities will include specialist sales support and delivering exceptional customer service.
Your Role in Action
- Process and manage sales orders and confirmations for a select customer base.
- Coordinate administrative tasks, including sales requisitions, cost tracking, and site support activities.
- Conduct market reviews, identify sales leads, and support strategic growth initiatives.
- Serve as the key contact for customers regarding forecasts, invoicing, stock availability, and planning needs.
- Resolve customer inquiries and material-related issues promptly, ensuring 90% resolution within one day.
- Oversee credit and cash sales customers, including the release of materials and emergency requisitions.
- Generate reports on material collection, monitor customer performance, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and service providers to enhance material supply processes and reduce service failures.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of supply chain concepts and methodologies
- Exposure to inventory and/or logistics systems or ERP software (Ellipse experience strongly desired)
- Proven experience in using problem-solving and process improvement techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advance Microsoft Office user (Access, Excel and PowerPoint)
