Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.
Early Childhood Educator – Diploma
Salary: $70,960.76 per annum pro rata

Part Time (32 hrs p/w) – Permanent
Nancy Vibert Children's Centre is currently seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator, holding a Diploma qualification, to join our team on a part-time basis, 32 hrs Monday - Friday
Located in a smaller centre environment, Nancy Vibert Children’s Centre focuses on fostering a family environment where older children actively mentor and engage with younger peers through positive play interactions.
Our centre embraces a primary care approach, emphasizing the significance of secure attachments for children. We prioritise building robust relationships that promote family involvement and support throughout our program.
All applicants must hold the following qualifications / licences:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent recognised by ACECQA, or actively working towards
- Current First Aid – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
- Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
- Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC).
- Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
