$37.45 per hour + super

The Opportunity

We work collaboratively across various business operations to implement and enhance the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS), ensuring both physical and psychological well-being for all employees. At the heart of our mission is a focus on continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and proactive safety measures.

As a Safety and Wellbeing Officer, you will play a key role in the ongoing development and delivery of the OHSMS. You will support a wide range of safety initiatives, including workers' compensation programs, general insurance administration, and safety audits. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact on health and safety outcomes, supporting employees across various teams and functions.

What You'll Do

Provide up-to-date advice on OHSMS development and implementation
Support stakeholders with risk assessments, safety documentation, and safety initiatives
Assist in incident investigations and compliance monitoring
Aid with the administration of workers' compensation and general insurance matters
Provide hands-on support and guidance to employees, including those in the field
Help stakeholders engage in safety inspections, audits, and meetings
Contribute to the continuous improvement of OHS systems and processes

What We Are Looking For

Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (or willingness to obtain it)
Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and related regulations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
Proficiency in computer programs and data entry for OHS reporting
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to safety
Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team
