Receptionist / Admin Assistant Position in a Speech Pathology Practice

We’re a close-knitted team of paediatric speech pathologists looking for a Receptionist / Office Admin Assistant to join us!

Key duties and responsibilities include:

Warm, friendly, welcoming upon client arrival, greet clients
Answer phone calls, manage scheduling / re-scheduling using our practice management software
Assist with client enquiries
Follow-up with no-shows / cancellations
Assist clients in completing forms and documents
Ensure client information is accurate for data entry
Maintain and manage client records as required
Monthly stock-take for office supplies and re-ordering
Collect payments using EFTPOS, process Medicare, HICAPS and other forms of payment
Obtain / provide reports / documents via emailing relevant parties as required
Complete other office admin duties as required
Ensure that the reception area is well maintained, neat and clean at all times
Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
Opening and/or closing the office for daily operations

1 - 2 years receptionist experience in Allied Health / medical practice preferred
Schedule: 2 - 4 days/ week
Hours: 8:45am - 5:15pm (45min lunch break)
Pay: $28 - $32 (depending on experience)
Work location: In-clinic (St Morris or Brooklyn Park)
