We are looking for a passionate, engaging Human Resources Business Partner to manage the day-to-day HR requirements for our Australian team, as well as collaborating with our global HR team.
About the role
Your day-to-day contribution can be discussed depending on your strengths and experience, however key areas of responsibility may include:
Business partnering
- Partner with the global team to roll out global and regional HR programs and policies
- Partner with managers to offer coaching, leadership development and performance management guidance
- Assist with the annual performance review process
- Maintain HR regulatory compliance
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including role evaluation, advertising, screening and interview and selection process
- Conduct reference checks, prepare employment contracts, induction schedules and other associated recruitment documentation
- Support leaders with onboarding and induction processes
- Onboard new employees in relation to company values, policies and procedures etc.
Remuneration
- Review monthly payroll & expenses
- Conduct annual industry benchmarking, and provide guidance on salary related inquiries
- Oversee any annual salary changes
Reporting
- Preparing monthly all-hands meeting
- Preparing and distributing quarterly global HR reporting
- Assisting with the creation and distribution of global annual engagement surveys
Culture Champion/Employee Experience
- Design and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, morale and retention, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture
- Contribute to the Employee Experience and help us champion our values-based culture
- Organise team building activities (retreats, birthdays, end of year events, etc.)
- Create an inspiring, engaging, fun and positive work environment while championing balance and mental health in a dynamic environment.
HR and general administration support
- Supporting with visa applications as required
- Assist with inter-company employee transfers as required
- Managing onboarding and offboarding of all employees
- Maintaining accurate HR records
- Maintaining the equipment register
- Assist with maintaining the ERP system as required

About you
We seek a motivated, experienced and passionate person to join our growing team. The right person will have some of the following and a willingness and ability to learn the rest.
- You are passionate about the energy transition and climate change, with a strong interest for energy, environment and/or sustainable development.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a HR Generalist/Business Partnering role, ideally in a SME environment and/or consulting environment
- A passion for people. You should be smart, thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, and excited to bring out the best in people;
- The ability to engage, inspire and influence people across diverse groups and seniority levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness and ability to flex into operational support as required
- Strong understanding of Australian regulatory framework
Location: Melbourne or Sydney
Salary: $105K - $120K + Super FTE, depending on experience
Work Type: Part Time, 0.6 FTE, negotiable on days/hours
