Role Overview:
Are you passionate about women's health and dedicated to improving patient care? I am seeking a Pharmaceutical Nurse Educator specialising in Women's Health to join this new & growing team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to healthcare professionals, including GPs, women's healthcare clinics, and other multidisciplinary teams. Your goal will be to enhance their ability to diagnose, treat, and manage endometriosis, ultimately improving patient outcomes and the standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify patient educational gaps and proactively engage with healthcare providers to address them.
- Reach out to potential and existing healthcare professionals through in-person visits, phone calls, and emails to schedule educational sessions.
- Coordinate and schedule training appointments, ensuring all details are confirmed and communicated effectively.
- Deliver engaging educational programs on endometriosis, tailored to the needs of GPs, clinics, and healthcare teams.
- Provide impactful, accurate, and up-to-date information on endometriosis diagnosis, treatment options, and patient management.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance healthcare professionals' understanding of evidence-based practices for endometriosis care.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and work with cross-functional teams to improve training programs.
- Build strong, credible relationships with healthcare providers by understanding their practices and decision-making processes.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and industry standards
- Experience in designing and delivering educational programs for healthcare professionals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to engage and educate diverse audiences effectively
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships with healthcare teams
- Commitment to improving healthcare outcomes through evidence-based practice
- Self-motivated with excellent time-management skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Clinical experience in women’s health or endometriosis care
