CSSD Instrument Technician Grade 2 – Sterile Supply

The Opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for Albury Wodonga Private’s clinical departments. This role is a critical part of the surgical process that will see you working efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines reporting directly to the Sterilising Services Manager.
Duties may include but are not limited to;
- Providing timely sterile products, trays, and equipment where applicable
- You will be rotated in various allocated areas in the department
- You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSSD whilst practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate 3 qualification in Sterilising Services
- Prior experience working in a Sterilising Unit, 3 years minimum current experience
- A good knowledge of AS 5369:2023.
- Your positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team and independently as required
- You will be customer service oriented in both internal and external settings
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of safety and infection control procedures

- Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
