Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop Business Development Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive business development plan that aligns with our business goals and growth targets.
- Identify Market Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and opportunities within the data analysis and Microsoft Data Analytics and AI solutions sector.
- Target Industry Sectors: Focus on high-potential sectors such as construction, healthcare, and government to expand our client base.
Lead Generation and Sales Pipeline:
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring regular follow-ups and updates in the CRM system.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored consulting solutions.
Proposal and Contract Management:
- Proposal Development: Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions that align with company objectives.
- Tender Submissions: Identify and respond to relevant government and private sector tenders, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
Collaboration and Team Coordination:
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, technical, and consulting teams to ensure cohesive and aligned efforts in business development activities.
- Marketing Support: Assist in the development of marketing materials and campaigns to support lead generation and brand awareness initiatives.
- Content Development: Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content, case studies, and success stories to showcase our expertise.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- KPIs and Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development activities.
- Regular Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve business development strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the consulting or data analytics industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in business development or sales are a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create compelling proposals and presentations.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Data Analytics and AI solutions, including Azure, Fabric, Power BI, and Power Platform is a plus.
